Just curious what this will produce

My little RIR hen is an egg laying machine! An egg a day, save a few a month she takes a break. I'd love to have some little reddish barred hens that did the same.

I'd say give it a try--esp if she's that good a layer! Those are the genes you want to pass on.

There are 4 of her eggs in the bator now with my seramas and silkies and coronation sussex. They labeled "mutt". I hope they're all hens!
