Just filled my incubator! due to hatch 5/1 anyone want to join me?

Good luck with that Pat. I just gave away my first 5 hatched chicks and I miss them terribly. It is so hard to say good bye to those little fluffballs. ahhh....20 more days...

Has anybody here ever noticed that you start to feel like a murderer for selling eggs for eating and not to incubate them? You start to wonder "What could have been?" oh, it's terrible...

So how is everybody doing today? It is Day 2 for me and I can hardly wait until Day 8 when I begin to candle. I am so hoping to get many chicks out of my 26 eggs. 4 of those are from an Old English Game hen, please, please, please let one of them hatch!

I have never seen an Old English Game Hen-- are they banty sized?

I've had to adjust the temp. some on my Brinsea, but looks good now

I will probably wait at least until day 8 or 9 to candle since I have the eggs stacked in the incubator, and it will be a pain to restack them!
