I need to put some on the ground and dig a giant hole in the middle of the cage. Wouldn't it be cool if they had tunnels around the cage? That would be a lot of work though.
Sorry, I haven't been on for a couple of days. Thank you for the kind reply's.
I really hate it when the chicks do this. Even after all this time I still have to poke them to get them to move.
Sushi, I am sorry to hear about your chick. That is really depressing.
Robo, can you imagine how that would be? I know that mine like to make tunnels in the hay that I lay down. I wonder if they would even go for something like that.
Attack Chicken, I have not had any problem with the cots and buttons together. If there is any problem - let me tell you it is more than likely the buttons grumping at the cots. I either have some really laid back cots or my buttons are some real stinkers. 99.9% of the time the buttons win any kind of argument between the two. It really is funny to watch some of my jumbos back down from a scolding button.
Would they have to be raised together? I have some coturnix and now I reaaaallly want some buttons, but it does get cold here in the winter. So far the coturnix are fine even with the snow today.
