I cant believe it...another pink egg but its a much more true pink than the first pink egg that i got. It also has a shiny finish and the first pink egg has a matt finish. Do i have 2 girls laying pink eggs or is it the same girl laying but just a different shade of pink.

The light brown/pink colored egg is the first egg and the pink in the middle is the one i just found. I am doing back flips over these eggs. The girls are gonna get good treats tonight.

I would guess those two brown eggs are from two different hens due to the size and shade is different. Congrats!

Mrs. Glassman :

What pretty eggs!

I wish I had girls like yours! Can you post a pic of your ladies please?

Here is Sunflower, she is laying the mint or light green egg. She is from Mt Healthy Hatchery.

Here is Ms Aruacana and we think she might be the one that gave us the aqua colored egg, if not here then Ms Wild Thing might be which is pictured below Ms Araucana. Both of these girls were from Meyers Hatchery.

Wow! Those are nice looking ladies!

I bought a few EE chicks not long ago. I still can't tell which are pullets/roos.

I hope I am as blessed as you are with such lovely eggs!

Do you ever plan to sell any of your eggs for hatching?

I would sell eggs for hatching, although i have never done it. Im sure if you wrap them and package them well enough that they would ship just fine.

I have 5 EE hens that are 19 weeks old and 4 of the 5 are laying already. I also have 4 EE pullets that are 6 weeks old so I will end up having 9 EE's. So i should have plenty of eggs to sell for hatching and eating.

You will know if you have a rooster...his comb turned red quickly and he started getting those tail feathers. If you post the pictures of your EEs I can try and see if there is a boy in the bunch.

Technically your eggs aren't "pink" they are in the "brown" egg color family. You can easily see the brown pigment in the first egg you collected, over the newer one, but I get pinkish eggs from my BO girls all the time, it's the only color they lay.
