Whenever I am close to my chickens on a face to face level I get nervous that they are going to peck my eye. They look at my eyes and seem fascinated and about to peck any second. I think it's my eyelashes that interest them.

In fact one did peck my daughter's eye once but thankfully it didn't cause any damage. I have had eye infections though where I get an ulceration in the cornea and they are really painful. I hope you feel better soon!
