Hello everyone! I just got my chicks on Friday and I have noticed an air bubble on the right side of my new hampshire reds neck above her wing. If anyone has had prior experience with this situation I would really appreciate some advice.

could you post a photo so we can see it? Is it large or small. moveable or stationary? Does it look at all like an abcess?

this is the bet pic I could get. She is very figidity. It looks just like an air bubble you can see through it.

I have read a few different things like to leave it alone and it will go away. Someone else wrote to pull the air out with a needle. I don't want to so anything unless it is an educated decision.

I agree with the advice in post #4 above... the last thing you want to do is poke it and run a chance of infection.
I hope your chick gets well soon.

I would leave it be and keep an eye on it if it increases in size that is when I would worry. Best of luck and Welcome to BYC!
