Just had a stoat attack!

I went to the hens and I seen loads of patches or feathers and thaught oh geat this again ( 3 of my hens were taken awa) and feathers left) anyways I followed the trail and it lead to the feeding pen, I went in and there was a stoat ontop of my chicken on the ramp ripping her feathers out! I chased it away and then picked her up, she seems ok just in shock. Also there was loads of feathers in the shed so it looks like she got in there and was dragged back out. She put up a good fight and lucky she did or it would have had her! It looked quite young so it probablies struggled to take her down...

i know! and i was not planning on going up again but i decided to, Im so happy she lived, hope she does live, she has been acting really off this week and i thaught she was going to die anyways with out this happening :/
