I set 12 bobwhite eggs I got off ebay and only 3 made it to hatch - temps have been running great the whole time and humidity was great.
2 of the 3 hatched this morning on Day 24 and both chicks have what looks like a small water bubble on the sides of the necks ??? what is the deal with this ??
these are my first Bobwhites I have hatched but I have hatched plenty of Button quail and 22 cortinux that are 4 weeks now.
any idea about this water bubble thing would be great.
