Just hatched some of the eggs from the hen I caught who had the 16 eggs under her. One chick hatched this morning and I brought her in the house and put her in a box lined with sawdust. Since I brought her in the house she has chirped non stop. I thought with the weather being over 100 degrees she would be better off inside. Any suggestions?

I would just leave them outside with the hen, she should know what to do to help regulate their temps. Chicks hatch out all the time under a broody and survive in all kinds of weather. I would just make sure that the babies, hen, and any other eggs are safe from the rest of your flock. Chances are if you loose one it is because it is natures way or another chicken got to it. Good Luck
