I have 2 pens of Isabelle (Lavender) Split Marans. These are basically Copper Marans that carry the Lavender gene. From these pens you will hatch Black Coppers/Isabelle Splits/Isabelles Marans. You will get 25% Isabelles/50% Splits/ 25% Black Coppers. I have 13 pullets in 2 pens and both pens have 2 Cockerels. I have had great fertility and hatches. 3 of my roos have feathered legs, just a few pullets have feathered legs so you will get a mix. Egg color is not quite up to par for a Marans but some eggs are nice color already. Egg color should improve with this cross. If you have Black Copper Marans you can cross those in to improve color type and leg feathering. They are a PROJECT and I have NEVER SOLD THESE. I think I have about 50 chicks on the ground. I don't want to set another 180 eggs this week

I am not THAT ready for spring yet.





The roos have copper but the pullets are lacking any color. Cross these with your birds that are well colored and you can only improve these birds. These chicks are very hearty! This is my first breeding season with these but I am OVER RUN WITH EGGS. I will not offer these much. Soon they will get sorted out for ANOTHER Project

My Cuckoo Marans roos has GREAT Feathered legs and my hens are Blue Cuckoo. Almost ALL the chicks I hatch have feathered legs. These birds are HUGE. If you have wanted some Cuckoos to work with here is your chance. Cuckoos with feathered legs are VERY HARD TO FIND. Did I mention they lay a JUMBO egg! Color need improvement but the pullets I have hatched from these birds have had better egg color. These birds are just STRIKING when you see how big and pretty they are.

I have had great fertility and hatches at the farm. I just don't need to hatch all these eggs.

Definitely. Those silver penciled wyandotte banties are to die for and I've been waiting for some wheaten ams. Have 1 wheaten roo and 1 blue wheaten roo that I bought from another BYC member last year. They're in with my 6 EE girls so hopefully I'll get a couple pure Am girls to add to the mix. And hopefully I'll have better luck with the silkies this time so I can add some new blood to my flock. I have partridge, buff, gray, splash and black Payment coming your way

LOL. Yep and they are cute cute cute!!! I have silver penciled cochin banties and just love the pattern. Also love the wyandotte banties and have BLR already so when I saw DMRippy's Auction about a month ago now with the SPW banties I just had to bid. And I won . The little ones hatched this past week and awwwww so cute. I was still lurking for some wheaten Ams and hopefully some Crele and Tolbunt Polish and some blue Ams. Wrote to another BYC member about Ams they had listed but haven't heard back. Then I saw the BIN last night with the wheaten Ams and more SPW banties and I just couldn't refuse LOL. Bought some wheaten marans eggs this week too that will be here next week so the flock is coming together Will just have to keep lurking for some blue Ams and the Polish LOL.
