For the first time, I am able to offer eggs for my third generation Faverolles. Not all the eggs I will,be shipping are, but about half. So far fertility has been 100%, eggs due to hatch next week.

AUCTION - 8+ Isabel Leghorn eggs

These are F6 birds and may still be considered a project. Isabel Leghorns were created by crossing a lavender orpington to a brown leghorn then crossing successive generations back to brown leghorns. The first few eggs laid were light beigh but are now white. To improve the isabel color as well as egg color, cross your isabels back to brown leghorns. The offspring will look like brown leghorns but carry the lavender gene. Cross those back to each other or back to Isablels. You will get a mix of brown and isabels with improved color in the isabels.
I have 8 eggs collected plus you get whatever is laid today (oldest two eggs were collected Thursday).
These are pullet eggs. They've been laying for eight weeks and eggs are still on the small side. I have two pullets covered by two cockerels. Fertility has been checked and chicks hatched from their eggs.
