hi all you chicken farmers! :) i just joined BYC and am so excited! I currently own 2 barred rock hens, 1 drake pekin duck, 1 female unknown breed duck, and 1 mini lop rabbit doe. I am planning on getting a buck this weekend to breed with my doe, and hopefully start a small rabbit farm. :) I am excited to have joined this forum! it looks like a popular one for sure. Just wanted to introduce myself! :)

BYC also has threads for ducks, geese etc. at "Other Backyard Poulty" forum. I know there is also information on rabbits but, I think it is on a "sister" site. You may try putting "rabbit thread," in the search box and see what comes up. Many members have rabbits and one that stands out in my mind is "Bunnylady," (user name) of course.! She is extremely knowledgeable .

Mini lops are cute rabbits, would you care to share a picture of yours? We raise meat rabbits (in addition to chickens and goats). BYC has something for everyone and all sorts of animals so look around, feel free to jump in on the threads and make yourself at home.

Muffin, my mini lop doe. :) Shes about 4 months old now. Chestnut Agouti, so she'll be great for showing. still need to get her ear tattooed. Shes super sweet :)
