JellyBeanCee, from Central Ohio. I know you will find BYC a wonderful place for knowledge and support. When I joined BYC I had just got my small flock and had so many questions that a simple search answered. When I did have questions, even though I sort of thought they were silly and afraid to post, the wonderful people here were so kind and able to help me out and ease my mind. I just know you will love it here!!! I was the same... did my research to find what breeds I thought would be best for me and my family. I ended up with Black Australorps (which is what I thought I bought, then was told here they are actually Jersey giants), Golden comets, and Leghorns (although the leghorns were sold to me as white rocks). They are all wonderful breeds with wonderful personalities. Can wait to see what you decide!!
