Just mailed off Holderread and Sand Hill orders!

I've ordered more top show quality Saxonies, but asked for a late shipping day due to our harsh mountain climate. It is supposed to snow tonight! Holderread is only 4 hours from here, so shipping is rather fast. They are schedules to ship the week of May 8th. Can't wait to get them. I bet my drake with be all exited about that.

He will be as mad as he can be. He hates babies. Tried to get out little gosling. The gosling is now taller so he simply ignores the gosling at this point.

OMGoodness! You poor thing! Where do you live that you're getting snow tonight?

I danced a jig last week when the last of our snow finally melted. We had 4.5 feet of it in the back yard!

: Me too! I have my Holderreads coming maybe next week or alt. I got Saxonys, Penciled runners,Dutch Hookbills, and maybe 2 silkies ( I tried to get them in 2009, but ended up with Mini-Overberg(who I really love by the way, good broody, lots of eggs for a mini and pretty. ) The 2nd choice is for the same breeds I have. I also got a Sandhill order for Grey Runners (only place I could find them!

and Dutch hookbills, & Saxonys. (2nd choice is what I already have), but they have me down for June. I may have to brood outside, because I use my garage and in Georgia ,Garage can get too hot in May or June if we get a Hotspell. We have had some 80 degrees already. Then I have 5 Shetland Geese from DH too, but haven't heard yet when they are coming....

And I put 40 eggs in the new incubator, but I don't think I will get many viable ones.....fresh to 10 days old, some eggs are fertile , but some I open aren't.....and the weather is fluctuating alot, who knows Could be pretty quackie around here this year!!!!!

Not great pictures but the little buggers just wouldn't stay still long enough to get great close-ups.
