Wow, it didn't take long for the first3 girls grow out of their brooder. I had them in a guinea pig cage for a week and 3 days. We started at 10pm tonight and made a make shift brooder out of the extra large dog kennel, took us 45 minutes start to finish. Little Maple needs more heat then the others and the others were getting too hot. The dog kennel is perfect! We barricaded the sides, so Maple couldn't squeeze through, nor can the cats get their paws through. Hubby even put a perch in there. They seemed real happy to move! I'll take a picture tomorrow. My girls are feathering so nicely and I need to show them off.
