Just wanted to share some happy chickens

Here are some pics I took this afternoon.

Porkus my Golden Campine hen....The silliest out of the bunch.

Red my RIR hen (I love the straight on shots!)

Laverne, she is only 14 weeks old and pretty shy, I think I am her flock pal cause we had to give back her rooster buddy....She is still trying to get fully accepted into the flock.

The teenagers...Shirley and well I need a name for the RIR. She is such a sweetie too we just can't find the right name!

Un-named RIR teenager as a baby. Looks like she is wearing a suit.

It's funny cause Porkus now when I go say hi when she is laying an egg (I love to see them in the nest boxes) she does this eagle scream so now she is reffered to as the "screaming eagle"

She is super hilarious. She is always talking and at night when I go in to say goodnight she uses her "nightime voice" it's soooo sweet.

I hope Laverne gets accepted soon too, things are getting better and she is starting to go in from the run at night to bed on her own. Usually I have to carry her in (spoiled).

Actually Porkus I think is Hen Boss since I lost my Big Momma in April (I sure miss her she was absolutely beautiful RIR)
