I'm getting a first aid kit put together and most of my stuff comes tomorrow
Today we had our first miner injury. Our Dog leaves our chickens alone because the have been around him from almost day one. They don't run from home they let him sniff them and he even lets them look for bugs next to him.
Our new chicken and runs from him so he chases and nips (something we Discourage) at her as a result she got a broken feather and a scale on her foot lifted up.

I cleaned it with witch hazel and put cornstarch on it. It was not bleeding bad but figured it would not hurt. Anything els I need to do?
She's did such a good job did not move at all while I cleand her up

Sounds like you did a good job. I would just watch her the next day or so because of the foot scale. A broken feather isn't a big deal as long as no blood is showing.

Most of it is covered by her other feathers but a very small bit of red shows from the scale being lifted. I'm getting blue kote tomorrow was thinking if it looks like she or the others are pecking her I'll put the blue kote on
