Sorry about your chick. It's always sad, but unavoidable. I think that sometimes pipping takes all their energy sometimes, and they just are too weak to live after that.

I lost two at hatching, and I'm watching a little runt I hatched three days ago. I know it's still not out of the woods. I'm doing the best I can with it, as you did with yours. I'm sorry your baby didn't make it. Big hug.

It must be something in the air w/ seramas.... I lost one new chick i hatched yesterday and one not looking good today, all others seem to be doing fine...Why do you always get attached to the ones that won't make it.. Sorry for your loss, good wishes sent your way...
