Just Ordered our Chicks!

I also ordered a dozen hatching eggs to arrive appox 3 weeks before so if they hatch they will be about the same age.

I also ordered from Meyer, nice people and great customer service and we can't wait to get my four female Black Australorps, they should be here the week of March 12th. I already built the brooder for them and purchased a heat lamp and a red 250 watt bulb at a local Agway

the wait is hard isn't it? mine came this morning. i was so anxious. part excited & part worried. all 26 alive seem ok. i know the first 48 is when you see your losses. hoping i have absolute minimal. they are the cutest darn things.

The wait is whats tuff. I work construction so I'm laid off right now and getting things ready for the chicks. I bought some Gro-Gel and Vital Pack for the water to hopefully revive them from there journey. I'll be sitting at the post office on the day at 5am to make sure I get them right away..LoL
