Hi today I "accidently" bought another two chicks =P
A frizzled crele polish and a black pekin...
Anywho this got me thinking if I was to breed the crele frizzle polish to a normal black laced polish would the chicks be "mutts" or is it a recognised colour? Ive tried to do abit of google research but the genes thing confuses me im still quite new...
Any help will be appreciated

Polish X polish will always be pure bred. Now the VARIETY (colour/pattern) will probably not be a recognized one, and will probably be a mish mash, but the breed will be pure.

Now crele is not a recognised or common polish variety (might you have meant tolbunt?), and I am not sure what you mean by black laced--could you mean blue, or silver laced or gold laced? Anyways, try playing with the chicken calculator and you will get an idea of the possible offspring.

Thankyou,my laced polish is black with white around each feather,I read you have to breed frizzled to straight,so when you say mixed colours does that mean ill get some crele chicks and some laced or chicks that will have mixed colours?
That calculator comes up in a language I dont understand but thankyou x

there's an english line in there on the calculator, gotta find that one line

the hen is silver laced if she is black and white. And you might get a crele or a messy laced but most will probably be just mixed in color

Ahhh ok thankyou dont think ill be breeding them then I like pure colours Im not sure "messy coloured chicks for sale" is much of a sales pitch >_<
