Just placed an order with Meyer Hatchery!

I'm so excited as I just placed my first order for pullets! We won't be getting them until the middle of May, so hopefully that gives me enough time to get my act together and build the coop. Here's what's comin' our way:

10 White Broilers
1 Light Brahma
1 Barred Rock
1 Buff Orpington
1 Black Australorp
1 Golden Laced Wyandotte
3 Ameraucanas

It feels like Christmas all over again. I placed an order for bees a few weeks ago, now chickens!

Yay so much fun! Its almost my 1st year aniversary of owning chickens! I ordered mine February 9th last year, and now I'm 100% addicted! And we've got 2 coops with another on the way soon. I like meyer too, they seem very nice.

I am aware of Chicken Math, so I better be careful. At least my wife is just as excited as I am about their arrival. Yeah, I've read and watched good things about Meyers, plus they're in Ohio so they won't have to be in transit too long to get to NY.

Congrats! I have never dealt with Meyer before, but have heard nothing but great things. You have some great breeds there too!! Enjoy them!

That's great! I ordered from them recently. The chicks haven't arrived yet, but they'll be here in March!

I just checked out the site myself. VERY tempting...is there a minimum you need to purchase??

yes the minnum is just 3 chicks but if you get under twenty five the shipping is more than the birds
