Just processed out at 67lbs

Please do not give my husband any more stupid ideas! We do not allow him to name anything, but he still tries to come up with stupid nicknames. I just know he's gonna call Big Boy or Chester "Puss" tomorrow. He can't keep Eva and Gracie straight so he just calls them lunch and dinner. Sadly they just LOVE him too. While he was putting the roof on our new home they called and called to him. Once I came out to the farm to find them in the basement looking for him.

I thought I was seeing things ! cute looking boots , never seen that before !

Gotta do whatever I can to protect my girls. The boots work out wonderfully and I dont have to provide separate shelter for the toms once they hit puberty. Since the BBW are so gentle it's easy to put them on too. Just got to watch the hens as they sometimes pull on them and once they get them off they run with their prize. They are like a teenage boy that stole a pair of panties.

OK I give who's panties did you steal?

I never stole any, but I have known Women who have gotten them in a wad.

I saw 67 pounds and had to look into this thread Thanks for the picture of Tom. Sorry about the loss of your 67 pounder.I noticed contractors taking dogs with them.Very annoying. I would never think to bring a pet,kid,friend... to work with me.

I had no idea about the gashing of girls, and benefit of boots. Will do that if I ever get tukeys. They are huge!

Sorry! But it IS funny

Yeah I know, but don't tell my husband or he will think it's OK to come up with more names. He still calls Gracie and Eva, Lunch and Dinner. Guess we haven't advanced to specific meals so all's good for now.

I did tell him if he keeps it up I will be getting a couple of calves and some milk goats sooner than he would like. Which is never. Not really a farm boy. Guess that's why we keep him around as he is pretty amusing. Shoulda seen how over the top scared he was of the little crippled pig I got last spring. He thought the pig was gonna eat us especially after he was no longer crippled. He was so tame I walked him into slaughter. I just said "come on Hammy lets go for a walk." My husband sat there with his 44 in case Hammy decided I was food. He sure does like the food Hammy became though, and now he says "the next pig." But calling my big beautiful toms PUSS that's just wrong. He's not here to read over my shoulder or he would be having a fit about how unmanly I decribed him. Mr Macho is really a PUSS when it comes to our (my son and mine) animals. He only hangs out with the turkeys because they are so gentle.

He does know the calves and the goats will arrive in good time though.

I love raising my own food.
