John: Here is a really good page of that thread and sour crop... This TwoCrows has lots of birds, good experience, wise with treatment of her birds. You might want to employ your lady friend to make some purchases too. LOL One of the good meds is Monistat cream or Canesten (UK version) Because it will adhere to the inside of the crop and kill the yeast. They also discuss the use of Yogurt (creates extra mucus in these birds) and when to use ACV. And a little further down you can see the crop bra apparatus.

She has had some oil, yoghurt, darkatin and her meds. Give her some water now and she is drinking it out of choice. She was also putting up a fuss when I syringed her so I guess that's good because she let me do it yesterday. When mam gets back from work I will give her some nystatin then will leave her for the night in hope that it's empty tomorrow.

P.S. Its light in the water, I haven't give her nasty water!

I'm off college today so I took ruby out for a little bit and she found herself some worms and maggots . I made sure she wasn't eating grass (I'm trying to let her crop rest a bit) and there was some bread out for the birds and she spotted it and ran over but she was quite weak so was tumbling a bit. She then got a piece so I grabbed her and was trying to pull the bread out and she was going crazy wanting it!
