Just rescued some more Battery Hens *pics*

Got a phone call off mam saying she wanted to meet me on my walk with my friend, she come up and told me that she thought Ruby was dead. I refused to get upset because I didn't trust her judgement but when I got home I saw for myself that she sadly was. I wish I was there with her but I did say good bye to her when I left and give her a stroke. The reason I was so secretive over the past day or two about how she was doing was because she went proper down hill and I was planning to have her put to sleep tomorrow (it would have been tonight but I couldnt do it). For those of you who only seen her ill pics, these ones may be unrecognizable to you. She was a beautiful hen and I will never forget her. R.I.P Ruby x

So thats all three of these girls gone now. 3 biggest characters I have every had. Sorry that I couldn't do more for your girls, hope yous are happy up there

And in the end, you did all you could to save her. You were there for her, keeping her warm by the fireside, making sure she had something to eat and drink, kept her crop empty. You did all you could. I wish I was there to comfort you. I hope some hugs here will do.
