most of my eggs should be pure RIR but may be mixes in there!

Soooo. After I posted that only 3 were laying, the young hens decided to prove me wrong.

At least 3 more are laying! We found a couple of eggs in odd spots (one in the shavings of the 'poo drawer' under the roost and two underneath the coop itself), but there were 4 in their nest box today.

The original 13 are now 25.

(Don't panic, there's only room for 5 more.)

I have but since they are maran eggs I can't see too much. A couple of them I can see them and others I can't. I left them all in there.

Added 8 Crevecour eggs in there last night too.

candled last night which was day 7-8 about 29/46 are develpoing! which in my opinoin is good for shipped eggs! There were some eggs with floating air sacks. All but three of the light sussex are developing! super excited! only 11 more days togo! hows everyone elses eggs?????? good luck!

My first hatch of this year is due March 2nd with 22 silkies and 18 buff orp eggs in the bator. Then I have due on the 9th 17 more silkies and 20 buffs. My other pure breed pens aren't back to laying yet. Best of luck to all for our March chickies.
