Just set my eggs... UPDATE: They're hatching!

5 out of 6 have hatched for me they are so funny 4 are in the brooder and one in the bator drying off as she only arrived this morning 2 of them have funny feet i mean the last toe is bent under but they seem to be getting around ok and fast every now and then they flop on there back and kick there legs but they get back up again, VERY LOUD they have food and water which the now two days old ones are trying out they have a teddy which seems to calm them down abit and a nice heat mat under it not like they spend any time sleeping they are scooting about all over the place lol

I'm crossing my fingers that I'll wake up with some pipped.

I'm trying to keep busy by prepping what food I can for my daughter's birthday part next weekend. Made some salsa to lacto-ferment, and up next we're trying a couple cupcake recipes. Hopefully it'll keep me out of the bedroom where the bator is.

Keeping busy is the best thing you can do. If you do look in the bator, talk to them, and cheer them on. It seems to help. Well it makes me feel like I'm doing something, and it does seem to get them moving, and after they pip, they will peep back to you

I have 5 more days for the ducklings. Going into lockdown Sunday. Broody still doing her job with her three. She is up high in the chicken coop. How do the ducklings get down out of there .........or don't they for a while?
