Hi all! I took some video of my 3 week old chicks second time outside on a nice sunny day and figured I would post it here. Midnight is really showing how bossy she can be! These are my first chicks ever so it was really interesting studying their behavior they act totally different in the brooder. Midnight is doing a lot of what I am guessing to be showing her position in the flock. Scarey Spice is a rooster I think. Her comb starting turning a little red a couple of days ago, I first thought maybe she was pecked by Midnight but it's still getting red. She also tends to do more looking around like a little security guard. Her feathers on her thighs and feet are much more fluffy and and way fuller than the others. Im just guessing though. Napkin is fiesty as well and doesn't back down easily from Midnight's behavior. We named her Napkin because the other chicks used to wipe their beaks on her!! Blanca is the white chick here and I think she's just somewhere in the middle she doesn't have much of a personality and usually hangs out with Scarey Spice. Gray Bullet is Midnight's best friend I think. She doesn't get bothered by midnight at all! She's also the tiniest!

At the end I give a little shout to Blue, our Share pei mix. We just had a storm and for some reason the dogs think tarp water tastes better than fresh! What do you all think? Thanks for reading/watching!
