Just sold eggs

So i sold a dozen eggs on ebay and this is my first time but ebay suggested a shipping price and i went with it i then went down to the post office and the lady there told me that i had no choice but to ship the eggs through express mail so it cost me 41.50 to ship them and i only sold them for 20$ do ant of yall have any experience or know of a better way to ship them

2 day priority would be fine. Should run around $15-$20 to ship within the US. No need to disclose what’s in the package

Thats what i was going to do we packed them in a box and when the lady at the counter asked us what we were shipping and we said eggs she td us that we had no choice but to ship them through express
