I felt for a split second like going back and getting the rest of those birds, but they were Silkies and bantam Cochins and Sultans and lots of birds I really don't have here, plus I didn't have anywhere to quarantine that many birds at once. I feel sorry for anyone else who bought his birds that year. That kid said he does this every year, raises chicks then sells them and gets new ones, but those pens were awful. He put on those muck boots or whatever you call them when we went back to see Hawkeye that day and I think we needed them ourselves. Ick. I think Hawkeye was glad to be in quarantine in a dog kennel for a month!

He's very impressive roo. His son looks great too. That last pic is father and son? All your birds do look great.

Your ladies enjoying their snow look like they have winter coats on and the one with the poofy feathers on her head looks like she has a hat. Do they get winter feathers? (Like dogs and horses get a winter coat?)

They are really pretty.
