Cheer!!! You mix kitties & chickens like we do!!!

Our new bantam cochin is afraid of the cats - who are NOT interested in her at ALL - but is slowly learning that they'll leave her alone if she doesn't run. Her first reaction is to run away clucking, which excites the cats. They're too old to do much though.

Ummmm very carefully? Actually, the feral cats where we live would kill any chicken they could get close enough to do so. Our house cat could care less.​
