great pics. you have some real cuties. i love, love the one of the chick sleeping on it's head. chicks do sleep in the weirdest positions. Shim used to sleep funny when she was a chick. she looked like someone dropped a dead chick on me. for the first 3 days she was here she would only sleep if she was on someon's chest. i think it is our heart beat (and love) that helped her sleep. then i put her in with the guinea pig and she would sleep in his igloo with him at night. thanks for sharing.

You have a pretty great coop and run. The chickens don't care what it looks like! BTW, you should see mine. It's a relic that was attached to a barn. Very old, very beat up, but the girls are happy to call it home.

As far as the two you asked about being the same breed or not: if they are BR, males tend to have more white (appear grayish) than females. I'm no expert but if you feel there's difference in color, you could have a male.

The grey is very very friendly and flies up to see me and get petted until it falls asleep on my hand. I'm in the country so I can have roosters. If it's a rooster I'll definately keep this one and rehome some of the others.
