Just spent the last 2 HOURS trying to get the ducks in their house!!

How's your weather there? When we have a really nice evening, mine resist going in at all costs. They look like they are headed into the house and then at the very last minute they all make a break for it. Fortunately I can move some of my temporary fencing around so eventually they have to go in, but I have had nights when I've had to leave them vulnerable. And boy do you hear every sound at night. Hope all is well in the morning.

I really want to leave their house open for them..just in case they decide to go inside on their own...
But i have the geese all safe in there now... I dont want to lose my ducks AND my geese...

sorry, that is a tough decision, id just leave it closed, the ducks should be ok since theyre all together but since theres only a few geese (2 you said?) if you leave it open it might be a free meal for them although geese are big but i think both can fly (unless you clipped them) so since the geese are in the coop they may not be able to get away but the ducks are in a flock and/or should be able to fly or at least glide away even with clipped wings and since theyre in a flock hopefully nothing messes with them but id probably shut the door and just keep your geese safe, your ducks should hopefully be ok but whatever you wanna do, sorry, tough decision but cant wait till morning, hopefully everything will be ok... good luck!

Put some pens together. That way you can catch them. They will get used to it. Ducks are smart!
