How do you find the regulations for your area on chickens? I know we can have byc, but I don't know how many and/or regulations

Our local township has everything listed online. Are you able to contact your local government office and ask them what the regulations are?

Just called City of Ottawa (Illinois) and as of 1/18/16 there are no rules/limits/etc on BYCs. Only thing that applies is the nuisance" law"
