how soon do roos usually start crowing?

I will miss him, he is the one chicken in the coop who will actually walk onto my hand and perch there. Once he flew onto my head- and got tangled in my hair lol!

He is an EE bantam.

The reason we got him was because we ere getting chicks and we forgot to look and see what gender they were. They turned out to be strait run only.

It's always hard to give them up, isn't it?
I had to give away 3 roos and a hen that one of my girls hatched. I miss sitting here in my office and watching them zoom past the window every few minutes.

When it's time to give him up, try to meet the people you give him to, you can usually get a feel for how he'll be treated.

The people I gave my roos to were very nice and seemed like caring people, so I have piece of mind that my boys are in a good home.

Good luck to you and don't forget to take a few pics to remember him by........
