Scratch Grains SunFresh
00ae.png
Grains is a natural blend of high-quality natural grains designed to be fed free-choice to adult chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys to encourage the natural pecking and feeding instincts. Note that Scratch Grains is a grain supplement, not a complete feed. If too much is fed, it will dilute the feed intake of complete feeds such as Start & Grow
00ae.png
, Layena
00ae.png
and Flock Raiser
00ae.png
, reducing the bird’s nutritional intake and overall performance. Purina Mills

Scratch Grains SunFresh

Grains should not comprise more than 10% of the birds’ overall diet.

Well now that's interesting. I thought flock raiser could be used from beginning to end. I'm glad I haven't switched already, as I had been considering it.

Thanks for posting this Max!

I did too!!!

I use flockraiser from the beginning. In some places, you can get medicated flockraiser ( same meds as start and grow.) I had a mixed ages of chickens last year, and it made more sense feeding them one bag. They free range, and trying to keep their feeds seperate wasn't practical. They all did so well on it, I've kept them on it since then. The girls lay great eggs, and we leave them free choice oyster shells for calcium.
