Just thought id lighted your day !

It's not so much 'loud' as frequent lol. She doesn't like being quiet. I tried putting her on her back and she pitched a fit at first, but then she seemed to chill out a lot. I think I'm going to keep working on it, just slowly.

Ryan pitched a fit at first too. I learned about putting him on his back from a friend who breeds chickens and sells the chicks, then I looked it up, and its true! It really does calm them down. Ryan didn't kick around anymore when I put him on his back. He just falls asleep and sings little cute songs:)

SUCCESS!!! After a lot of attempts, and a LOT of scratches, Miss(or mister) Nelson just fell asleep on her back laying on my chest!

It was too freaking cute. I'm sure it will still take some time for her to be totally used to it, but this is a major break through. Not one peep the whole time she was on her back

Did you read that putting your geese on their backs is not a good thing? That it puts pressure on all of their organs and can kill them! My advice is do it just for a bit and then turn them back over on their stomach's!!!!
I would hate to see you lose your beloved geese......

I did not know that. I'm glad you told me that because I will certainly look into it. I would die if something happened to my goose. Even more so if it was my fault and could of been prevented.
