Just two are debateable at this point.. What are they?

I thought the same thing.. Did yours have muffs or a beard?
Faverolles do have muffs and beards.. and the salmon color is known as Gold Duckwing in some other breeds (as far as I can tell according to my research thus far) and is also close to wheaten if not actually the same.

Bielefelder are cuckoo red partridge.. minus the barring looks the same as brown leghorn/ Welsumer or anything partridge colored, oddly known as Silver in the Ameraucana.. ALL color and feather patterns exist across the board for most breeds.. either accepted into the SOP or as a project color that *may* eventually be accepted by APA ( American Poultry Association) or others country's poultry clubs to be shown at sanctioned meets.

Juvenile down can look so close to other patterns.. it's meant to camouflage the babies while they learn their foraging, hiding, awareness skills, etc.

Straight comb and feathered legs with no beard.. maybe Cochin cross.

It's fantastic fun to see all the guesses and discussion though and get a chance to TRY and hone my own skill looking at subtle clues. It's one of my favorite games.. guess the breed/gender. :pop

Speaking of details and clues.. toe count.. Faverolles have 5 toes on each foot like a SIlkie... but not on the chicks sold as EE that I can see. :)

ETA: I think feathered legs and extra toes are both dominant genes..bearding as well, according to my previous experience IF I am remembering correctly.

None of my new babies have 5 toes. This gal and 3 others like her do... I got her as a full adult.. She's started laying 11 days ago, but stopped at 9 eggs, and has them 'concealed' in the rain barrel (on it's side) that she and Henri the Barred Rock have. She is supposedly a BA x Silkie, but I suspect some Svort Hona in there as the roos I saw running around with them had mulberry combs.

Here are the two marans I picked up when they were day old hatchlings.

I'm sure when they mature it will be a giggle fest to see what everyone turns out to be.

Mulberry colored walnut shaped comb is required for the SOP in SIlkies.

Black feathering is dominant to many colors.

That bird very well looks like the cross claimed. Those dark eyes..

Silkies also have both bearded and non bearded accepted into their SOP. Hatchery quality Silkies often have poor leg feathering, poor cresting, and toe # and separation or length, comb quality color and type can be highly variable from pretty decent to very poor. Just statements with regards to the SOP and not a judgement towards anyone's lovely birds!

If they had Marans as an option.. feather legged straight comb, no beard.. maybe your other one will be OE. And they said EE for simplicity or because it's a first generation cross

Definite giggle fest with lots of fun eye candy and no doubt some theatrical personalities. Chicken TV at it's finest! :wee
