Welcome to BYC. I hear you on waiting for coop - we just finally got ours built by pros (many delays due to spring wet weather here), but we're still trying to finish the predator proofing. I already have chicks, though, so there's a deadline. I hope your build goes well.

Don't feel like the Lone Ranger! There seem to be quite a few of us currently "waiting for the coop" - myself included. The "kit" isn't due to be shipped even for another week or two. Then we'll see how accurate their estimate is of "only 30 minutes to set up." <g> But there is lots to learn just perusing the threads here - or so I'm finding.
