Hello, I am new to this website and to raising chickens. One of mine has already fies since she had an internal infection before we got her. It was hard but I hope she was comfortable before she passed. Anyway I now have 4 chickens all different types, and my smallest is concerning me. She sleep a LOT during the day when the others are far more active and bigger. I've gotten her to drink water on her own and eat some. I use electrolytes in the water and change it out every 2 days. In between I dump and clean when they kick dust in it. I clean their coopish thing every week since it is fairly big but wonder if I should do it more often. Pls someone help me make sense of this.

How old are they? How long have you had them? What are they eating?

If one is noticeably smaller, she could be a runt, or it could be failure to thrive, which is just a generic term to say there's something wrong internally. Can't do much about it if that's the case.
