I want to say a big thank you to this community.

I am a complete newbie when it comes to chickens. Wanted them for years but only took the plunge, May gone. I'll be completely honest, I didn't do enough research. I made a lot of mistakes in a short period of time but thankfully it has all worked out and that's because of you guys. I'm a natural worrier and you have all been so great to put my mind at ease with quick responses, valuable information and most importantly, kindness.

I think it might be the nicest, most welcoming corner of the internet. I hope one day to be as helpful to newcomers, in the meantime if anyone has any questions regarding cats - I'm your gal

I'm so pleased by this post! It's great to read that the folks in here have helped you when you needed it. You know what? Everyone, I don't care who they are or how much preparation they've done, makes mistakes when they first raise poultry. We all learn by experience, but guidance sure does help! I have no doubt you will be helping other newbies with what you've learned very soon. Cheers!
