Just sharing my coop progress because my amazing husband is NOT a chicken guy nor a Carpenter However he rocked building this coop for me from a hand me down shed! I'm so in love with it. It's not quite done yet but almost! God love him for loving this crazy chicken lady lol

This is a great diagram, I did not realize the vent options afforded by a mansard gambrel roof.

Gambrel roof, mansard is a rather different.
But yeah, guy here did his up like this years ago, I thought it was brilliant so I drew it up for reference.
