Just wanted to share a cute picture

I'm not sure, but lots of people in my neighborhood own chickens and roos, the post office told me that you can only keep them if you are not going to eat them. So I guess its okay. I spent almost 3 hours looking up laws against keeping chickens, and could only find 1 about it being illegal to own noisy chickens, and chickens being eaten.

That is bazzar! Some animal rights person must have gotten ahold of that law some time ago.
I'm only supposed to have a certain amount of chickens and no roosters and I have sometimes waaaay over the limit and I have several roos

I've had Animal Control standing in front of my coop and run and I was easily 60 over the limit and the ACO didn't bat an eye. In my mind- I have nearly 5 acres, I should be able to have a LOT more than I'm "allowed" to have legally. My neighbor down the road used to have a full scale poultry farm and had 1,000 chickens on it at one time and was never bothered. We're lucky out here I guess.
No one around here cares, I have great neighbors.
Do you only have Silkies?

what kind of dog is he

My mom got him as a gift from a friend. She said he was lab and chow mix. He's the only white colored one that survived. The other white ones, from different litters, all died eating chocolate. He however can eat chocolate and the only side effect is a tummy ache. (when he was a puppy he would get into everything lol), so I guess he is lucky.
