Guineas are something I thought about and then decided against. My neighbors are pretty far away (about a quarter of a mile as the crow flies) but they have commercial chicken houses. Guineas are known for roaming. Think I'll stick with something that will stay a little closer to home.

It sounds like we need to start a support group like ALNON but for Chicken addicts spouses. I asked my DH if he was ok with chickens before I wrote to our HOA and begged them to let me have 2 chickens. They said I can have 2, so I came home with 5! I couldn't help my self

I'm not sure my DH is talking to me yet

Something about HOA fines, I haven't built a coop yet, we have 2 dogs that want to eat chicken, I'm in school full time + work full time + we have children and a home to take care of. I'm a woman, I can do it all right?!?

Well, now I've done it...got the 25 pullet Rainbow Special at MyPetChicken.com for $41.50 shipped. and 2 doz more eggs on the way...

Perhaps I ought to sell RanchHand's hubby some of my coins...

I'm going to have to build another fence to hide how many birds I have here, because I'm going to overload my biz partner's farm and keep a bunch of them here in town!!!

I wonder? TSC has them in the spring. We are "eaten up" with chicken houses around here. Does TSC do a fall chick sale?

He said ok how many.. I hesitated.. He said that cant be good.. I said 32. He said WHAT we dont need that many. I said had to order 25 atleast.. He said whatever.... Next chapter is going to turn into Hunny we need a bigger coop LOL. Anyone want to telll him for me? I think he has been exceptionally good here,
