When I was young it was popular to hate N'sync and the Backstreet Boys. Now it's Justin Beiber. In 5 years it will be somebody else. I think when you get older you'll learn not to care. He's just a kid doing his thing, making his millions, if the opportunity landed in your laps you'd all be doing the same thing.

I am older than dirt and this kid strikes me as being just kind of a punk...I love Jaden Smith and the Twilight boys and some other young performers and actors...this kid just gets on my nerves...a punk...he does not even know who he is or what life is about yet, but thinks he does...there is an element of extreme arrogance in him...maybe that is what annoys me...

I, of course, am more accustomed to the attitudes and commitments of many 18 and 19 year old kids kicking in doors in Afghanistan, knowing the first guy through the door often gets shot...but they do it anyway...these youngsters are the future of our country, not the JBs...

and to me, being older than dirt, his music is just noise...

I object to Bieber because he really does not have a good voice. Mitchell Musso (Pair of Kings stupidity...) actually has a good voice. But, he isn't good looking enough.

hm, well there really is no reason to hate the beibs, although i may not like his music he doesn't have a horrific voice. well everybody has different taste.

I went into the corner store with a couple of friends for cat food once (yes, cat food is what teenagers buy now) and as we were passing by, my more or less culturally illiterate friend stopped by a magazine and went, "WHO is THAT?"
So I stop, look at the magazine, and am thinking, 'Not you two!' But I just said, "That's Justin Beiber."
