Königtum von die Eule

Tylisia returned from a hard day of practice flying with her basic skills group, which consisted of other young owls who are still learning some basic skills before deciding what they would like to participate in at the kingdom; whether it be a broody, a soldier, a teacher, or whatever other opportunities lied ahead for them.
On thus particular day, the group had been practicing burst flying; flying straight up as fast and with as much power as possible as high as they could go. It would help them build muscle, stamina, and speed. It was an extremely tiresome lesson, and so Tylisia, with her wings sore and exhausted, managed to catch a quick snack (a small vole) before landing heavily on her roosting branch. She ate the small vole, stretched, yawned, and immediately fell asleep for a long, much-needed nap. When she awoke, she would join the rest of the owls for dinner at the center of the Great Tree.

Sanga flew into a thick part of the trees and sat in a nest she had started building. She was soon going to lay her eggs, and she wanted to be prepared. She dived down again to catch some of the tiny fish she had spotted earlier.

Sanga saw this and smiled, right before she caught a fish. She wondered if the owlet would eat it. She went up to it to try, as it had had nothing to eat.

No! she thought, why don't they understand?!?!? Peep pweep!!!

She hopped around on wobbly legs, spreading her little fluff covered wings for balance.

Sanga held it over the owlet's mouth. "It's fish."

Hungry? What is hungry???Am I hungry? She felt a pang in her tummy, Yes I am.

Peep, she said softly.

She took the fish and held it, trying to find out how she was supposed to eat it.
