The Pure One screeched in pain from Sanga's attack. He dropped the unconcious Tylisia, but another Pure One appeared from below and caught her. A third Pure One dropped from above them and aimed his deadly battle-clawed talons at Sanga.
 
Jay heard the screeches of distress...Both that of Sanga and the injured Pure One. He flew in that direction, determined to find Tylisia.

Before long, Jay spotted the squabble between Sanga and the Pure One ahead. He screeched and surged forward, thrusting his claws toward the Pure One and striking him on the back. His talons stabbed into one of his wings and he clinged on as the Pure One hissed in anger and spun around, thrashing and flapping around madly in mid-air to try and get a hold of the owl who had attacked him. His impaired vision, caused by Sanga, caused him to have difficulties with removing Jay from his wings; not only because he couldn't see very well in one eye, but because the pain was nearly embearable. A strong hatred arose in him towards Sanga for blinding one of his eyes, and he thrashed about even more in anger, which caused Jay's grip on his wings to loosen slightly.
 
With Jay hanging on to his wings and Sanga paralyzing him, the Pure One stopped fighting and dropped down far to the ground, disappearing from sight. Tylisia! Jay thought urgently, and surged after Sanga in the direction the Pure One had taken her. Only now, how would he find her? How would they know where they had gone? How far had the Pure One carried Tylisia away already since they had been fighting the first one? These thoughts flashed through Jay's mind as he caught up to Sanga, not sure whether to ask her these questions or keep them to himself.
 
Sanga put a three lined scar right across the space that was where the heart was on the one holding Tylisia. "Never healed, let the spirits of ancients guide." Sanga mumbled and the Pure One dropped Tylisia right onto a moss patch, were she was unharmed.
 
Nieve watched while dancing frantically on the perch .
 
A Pure One shrieked and dropped something white and fuzzy next to Jay.
 
Jay flew to Tylisia and tapped her with his beak several times. "Tylisia!" He whispered frantically, trying to awake her from her unconciousness. She was breathing and stirred slightly, mumbling something, as if she wanted to awake but was still too out of it to have enough strength to do so. "We need to carry her back to the kingdom, to the hospital nest." Jay turned to Sanga and said urgently.
