I know we take in much more information than we are conscious of collecting. I think we unconsciously put it together, but it usually doesn't make it all the way to conscious awareness. I think that process is what is responsible for the noetic quality of James' mystical state criteria. Anyway, I have never seen an aura on anyone, and I was just wondering how an aura might translate to a message board.

Like that. IRL I see auras and other things that other people cannot. On-line it is just a sense an overarching sensation - can't explain it -- but I do know enough of Boyd's posts over the past couple of years (really?) to have gotten a sense of him.

All I can do is reiterate that we ALL have the capacity for evil. I myself have done some of my fair share or not good things. But, I have learned from it and it makes me more able to comprehend and not judge others who have done bad things and want to change.

Like ON said it's all about energy. Some people have energy that flies all over the place. They can be like that in person as well. Some would call it "flighty" or "dizzy". They don't know how to control their energy output.

There are others that are what we sometimes call "psychic vampires" They tend to pull energy from other people. Some do it intentionally, others don't realize they are doing. These people can be very draining on your body. Even folks who appear "happy go-lucky" can be vampires. Those that intentionally draw your energy awary are very good at hiding their true selves.

Folks who are sensitive or "see" these energies can be physically effected by both the "dizzy" and "vampire" people. Headaches, stomach issues and fatigue are just a few of the things that can effect a sensitive. Someone who does "see" energy must learn to "ground" themselves so that the effect of these energies is lessoned or eliminated all together.

Grounding is basicly connecting yourself to the Earth Mother and Father Sky. In through the top of your head and out through your feet. Think lightening bolt. Hits the top of the tree and is funneled down and out the roots.





Boyd, my friend, I don't see you as dark, you are very guarded of your true self. Non-trusting of people you don't know and even with those you do, you don't share everything.

I forgot to add I have some really weird dark thoughts. I think everybody should be able to protect his (or her) home. I know I'm protecting mine really (and I mean really) well. Just step on my property and find out. It's all good.

I've read a bit about it. As I said before, I think it all has to do with the information that we take in subconsciously. Unless a person learns to shift through it and, again subconsciously, learn to deal with the absolutely dizzying and overwhelming amount of info that bombards her, she would suffer negative effects.
