Well, today I opened the small run into the big run. I made a doorway at the far end, and opened the cage door at the front end. I also added some furniture to the run to create escape routes in case of violence.
I sat with them for a good while, I do that a lot anyway, and took a few photos.
Other than a few spats, there were very few confrontations.
My Big Girls are 20 weeks old, my Little Girls are 9 weeks old.

I really love your setup...that log is so cool! Your girls look very happy & healthy....now for that first egg!

My four Big Girls are 20 weeks old now.
I put two nesting boxes in the coop today. Getting ready for that Very First Egg!

Do you think I should put a fake egg in the boxes so they know what the boxes are for?
