My chickens often buddy up with a like-chicken.

(If you look closely in the lower left, the two RIR’s are near each other. Just ignore that rooster.

Well, here is a new development;
this guy showed up the other morning out of nowhere!

He is solid black, and very handsome!
No idea where he came from.
I suspect that he was “dropped off”.
Animals get dropped out here all the time.
But I put an ad in the local lost pets Facebook page just in case.

It is SAD that peeps resort to doing such things. In my area,, cats seem to be the leader in dropped off animals.
I of course will feed feral cats.
He is getting more tame. I can walk up to him, with food, and he does not run away anymore. He visits most everyday,,, eats, and moves on.
He looks much better than when we first saw him,,, about 3 months ago.

Aw, he is a pretty cat. I’m sure you will win him over.
We always have stray cats and dogs roaming around. It’s sad.

I don’t know which one was not sure where to lay an egg properly, but she put it under the chair.

My egg basket looks good with some white ones again!
