Aww I think the mini Nubians are the most cutest things ever. our friends that breed the goats have.... well they are large and brown. I think they are either Nubians or Alpines. I think they are Alpines but not sure.

how many goats do you have, I love little kids. lol not literally kid as in the goat not the human variety.

Our friends had an Orphaned kid, well she had a twin but killed it. you see it was the big goat that had two front legs out, but she wanted out first and had one leg out. so mama goat did not make it and neither did the first one. and the one that made it they named impatient.

they bottle fed her and she follows them around everywhere.

I have 5 saanan/nubian does that we milk. 3 have kidded with more doelings!

2 to go. I would be very surprised if they didn't have at least 5 between them.

2 bucks - nubian and boer.

2 angora does.

I have sold a few does this past summer to make room for the cashmere goats I want to add.

Miss Prissy, I just read and looked through the blog- which is wonderful, by the way. And I have already commented about how sorry I am that the doeling didn't make it, and the stress on all of you hopefully easing.


BUT- after seeing the blog, I do want to add my kudos to your vet! Fine work.

This vet and her partner are awesome vets! I like them both. They are just awesome women doing a magnificent job especially with goat herds.

Oh that poor little baby bred as a baby by a Nubian

I hope she will not be sterile as a result of this ordeal.

Hopefully she will still be able to experience the joy of kidding with a nice buck her own size once she is well and healed.

Seeing her go through that just hurts me so bad. Please give her some nice treats and be really good to her.

PS My Nigerian Dwarf girl had apparently kidded very successfully before I got her and her teets are already dried at only a year and 3 months, by her previous owner. But she was bred to another Nigerian Dwarf so all went well.
